Services & Treatments
We will do our very best to come up with a solution that works for you at Stride.

Physiotherapy
Using a combination of evidence-informed techniques described below – such as fascial stretch therapy (FST), neurofascial release (NFR), dry needling, acupuncture, therapeutic modalities (Laser/TENS/TEND), and heat therapy – your therapist will work to reduce pain and restore function over the course of treatment. You will also be provided with simple, effective home strategies to help manage symptoms during daily activities. As symptoms improve, your care will progress to targeted strength and mobility training, guided by physiotherapists and strength coaches, with the goal of optimizing movement patterns and reducing the risk of recurrence.
Osteopathic Manual Therapy
Osteopathic Manual Therapists are trained to find subtle imbalances in the body. They identify restrictions in motion and through manual manipulation, bring the body’s structure back into balance. This re-balancing can address specific issues as well as supporting the body as a whole system so that the body is in a better position to heal itself.

Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST)
Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a gentle, full-body, pain-free treatment that uses traction and assisted stretching to target fascia—the connective tissue that surrounds your muscles. By restoring healthy movement patterns, FST helps improve mobility and joint function. It’s commonly used as a maintenance therapy to support overall joint health, particularly as we age.
Rapid Neurofascial Release
Rapid NFR is a movement-based treatment that targets the nervous system to release pain, tension, and restrictions in specific muscles, tendons, and ligaments. NFR is fast but can be uncomfortable, as the treatment combines precise tension with specific movements. This is often combined with TENS or acupuncture.

Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is the manipulation of soft tissues of the body including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints. Massage therapy is a clinically-oriented healthcare option that helps alleviate the discomfort associated with every day occupational stresses, muscular over-use and many chronic pain conditions.
Dietary Consultation
Amy will help you form eating strategies that suit your goals and lifestyle. These can be implemented to combat a variety of issues including weight loss, IBS, anti-inflammatory diet, kidney/heart/liver health and more, Amy is happy to do a free 15 minute consult to hear your thoughts. In this consultation you can decide if you would like to take it further. Amy will prepare a strategy to implement and will cover this with you during an hour long follow up session.

Exercise Therapy / Pilates
While addressing the fascia can provide immediate pain relief, it’s essential to identify and correct the underlying causes of the discomfort. By the time pain arises, the individual has often been moving with dysfunctional patterns for some time. To achieve lasting results, exercise therapy retrains the body to restore proper movement and function
Acupuncture / Dry Needling
These techniques work by inserting thin needles into knots of muscle known as myofascial trigger points to release tightness, improve blood flow, and reduce pain. It creates a localized twitch response that releases the knot, improving muscle function and range of motion.
